On May 22, Qisda announced its collaboration with S&P Global to integrate the Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) tool into its supply chain management system. This makes Qisda the first company in Asia to partner with S&P Global in actively promoting alignment with global sustainability standards in the supply chain, aimed at strengthening the ESG profile of its supply chain, expanding its sustainability impact, and promoting more low-carbon products.

On May 22, S&P Global held its Global S&P Sustainability Yearbook Awards ceremony in Taipei, inviting outstanding selected companies from Taiwan to gather together. Qisda has received recognition for being in the top 5% globally in the S&P Sustainability Yearbook for two consecutive years.
Robert Dornau, head of corporate participation for S&P Global CSA, emphasized at the award ceremony that participating in CSA is not merely a formality but a comprehensive health check of a company's sustainable development. Qisda’s gradual promotion of the CSA sustainability assessment to its supply chain demonstrates the company's ambition to build a sustainable supply chain and enhance overall corporate competitiveness through the CSA methodology.
Peter stated: “Although Qisda's own manufacturing carbon emissions account for only 1% of the overall footprint, a staggering 99% comes from the supply chain. Only by collaborating with suppliers can we truly achieve a hundredfold sustainability impact. The CSA assessment developed by S&P Global is widely applied to 90% of the market capitalization of listed companies globally and is the most credible and systematic assessment tool in the ESG three dimensions. Most international clients also participate in the CSA assessment annually, making the CSA assessment a common sustainable language for the entire value chain.”
Qisda will work with S&P Global to promote CSA within its supply chain management system, enabling Qisda's suppliers to connect with international clients using a common ESG sustainability language and standards. For suppliers, participating in this internationally credible and industry-comparable assessment will help them concretely identify their current status and continuously evaluate improvement results, accelerating their sustainability competitiveness.
Qisda has long been committed to sustainable development, having obtained the world's first carbon footprint certificate for liquid crystal displays as early as 2009, leading the industry in product carbon management. After more than a decade of investment and collaboration with suppliers, Qisda can now quickly generate carbon footprint reports within one hour after product mass production. This year, Qisda is integrating primary data from one of its suppliers into its self-built carbon footprint system, making suppliers' carbon reduction performance transparent and visible.
Qisda actively practices sustainable management, setting targets of a 30% reduction in supply chain carbon emissions by 2030, 100% renewable energy usage by 2040, and net-zero emissions by 2050. This collaboration with S&P Global will help achieve the significant milestone of a 30% reduction in supply chain carbon emissions by 2030, creating a common sustainable language that illuminates the entire supply chain.
