BenQ Group Clinches 19 Sustainability Awards! Qisda, BenQ Materials, and Alpha Networks Named to the “Taiwan Top 100 Model Sustainable Companies”

BenQ  Group continues to prioritize sustainable development, winning a total of 19 honors across the 18th TCSA (Taiwan Corporate Sustainability Awards) and the 8th GCSA (Global Corporate Sustainability Awards). Among them, Qisda, BenQ Materials, and Alpha Networks were named to the “Taiwan Top 100 Model Sustainable Companies.” The Group’s sustainability practices are also being extended to other members of the broader Group, including BenQ Corporation, BenQ Materials, Alpha Networks, Hitron Technoligies, DFI, and MetaAge, which collectively secured multiple Sustainability Reporting and Comprehensive Performance awards.

Hosted by the Taiwan Institute for Sustainable Energy, the 18th TCSA in 2025 held its awards ceremony on November 26. The organizer noted that this year’s competition drew 743 participating organizations, bringing the cumulative total of participants over the years to 1,075, with combined annual revenue exceeding NT$38.4 trillion—making it Taiwan’s largest and most comprehensive sustainability evaluation program.

Sustainability Comprehensive Performance: Qisda and BenQ Materials Again Named to Taiwan’s Top 100 Model Sustainable Companies

The Comprehensive Performance category evaluates companies against sustainability performance benchmarks to honor outstanding achievers. Qisda has been selected for the “Taiwan Top 100 Model Sustainable Companies” for four consecutive years, while BenQ Materials has received the same recognition for two straight years. With Alpha Networks joining the list this year, three Group companies earned this distinction, demonstrating the steady diffusion of sustainability across the Group.

• Environment: Qisda reduced its greenhouse gas emissions by 54% compared with the 2021 baseline. In 2024, following the GHG Protocol, it completed greenhouse gas inventories for 100% of its first-tier suppliers. Going forward, Qisda will assist suppliers in setting reduction targets, steering the supply chain toward a 30% emissions reduction by 2030.
• Social: Qisda is building a happy workplace through comprehensive talent development and friendly workplace policies. Overall employee engagement reached 4.67 (out of 5), enabling employees to thrive in an environment where safety, trust, and growth go hand in hand—strengthening organizational cohesion and sustainable competitiveness.
• Governance: Qisda actively participates in sustainability initiatives and has embedded a culture of Continuous Improvement. In 2024, the Group’s Continuous Improvement Program (CIP) delivered operating efficiency savings equivalent to approximately 1.1% of annual revenue. Nearly half of headquarters’ CIP projects already leverage AI tools, significantly advancing automation and reducing human error.

Sustainability Reporting: BenQ Qisda Group Earns Two Platinum, Three Gold, and Two Silver

The Sustainability Reporting evaluation emphasizes disclosure quality, including completeness, credibility, and communicability. This year, Qisda and BenQ Materials received the highest “Platinum Class” distinction in The Sustainability Reporting Award; BenQ Corporation, DFI, and MetaAge earned “Gold Class”; Hitron Technoligies and Alpha Networks received “Silver Class”—for a Group total of two Platinum, three Gold, and two Silver honors.
